    Official Seal, 1877, brown, affixed over top edge of unpaid yellow cover to Dixon, Illinois, "Chicago Ill. S.D. Sta., Feb 12" cds and "Returned for Postage" circular handstamp, blue crayon "3c" due rating and "1884" filing number; piece of seal missing on reverse, otherwise Very Fine and rare use of the first Official Seal.

    Post Office Seal, 1877, brown, tied by "New Haven, Conn. May 15" cds sealing flaps on reverse of cover to New Haven street address endorsed "Kindness of Mrs. Pilcher", original printed "Post Office, New Haven, Ct." letterhead dated May 15, 1879. sent by the Postmaster to his girlfriend; cover small tear and reduced slightly at right, Very Fine and unusual OX1 use; with 2018 P.F. certificate.

    Dead Letter Office, Package Tracking Seal, Type 5, red, with red manuscript DLO slash, affixed to cover from Norristown Pa. to Toronto, Canada bearing 2¢ carmine (220) tied by partial "Norristown Pa., Mar 12" duplex, bold "VR, Customs-Canada, Refused, Port of Toronto" crowned oval, reverse with Philadelphia (3.2), Toronto (3.14) arrival and Canada Dead Letter Office (3.16) cds; faults, Fine and rare Type 5 seal use.
