United States Packet from St. Thomas", carried by U.S. Brazil Line Merrimack from St. Thomas Jun. 15th to New York arriving Jun. 20th, bold "N.Y. Steamship '10' Jun 20" debit cds, manuscript " Forwarded " with "Providencetown Mass. Jun 23" cds and manuscript " ford 3 " rating totaled to "13" cents due; slightly rough opening at right, F.-V.F. and unusual forwarded use.

1866, 3¢ rose, imperf, large margins except touched at top, cancelled central strike of five-ring and dot cancel (type 1), matching "St. Thomas, 7/4 1868" cds on gray folded cover from the W.H. Heylinger correspondence to Christiansted, St. Croix; acidic ink has eroded address, 3¢ with two borer holes and scissor cut, Fine and scarce; with 1975 Friedl certificate.
