Apr 9" cds to Bedford, Michigan, original letter datelined " Hospital A. April 8 1862 " with some good content mentioning measles and small pox not getting among the ranks of the Army and "You wished to know if the Gen Lander who commanded this division was the one who used to be Col. he is the same…had the name of being a brave man…", and mentions letter was to the regiment first and opened by officers to check for contraband, etc.; light aging, F.-V.F. and attractive patriotic with a good soldier's letter.
