(1848 Campaign) Zachary Taylor Lettersheet, portrait campaign design in uniform with cannons, flag and printed signature below, on lettersheet datelined "New York Oct 2d 1848" with some good political content " …The elections are coming on, soon we shal known who is president - can give something of a guess after the election in Penn. & Ohio - all parties here are having very large & enthusiastic meetings…The Clay party is dissolved, some of them will go for Taylor & some for Cass & some of them for V. Buren. The Cass party expect the Irish to vote their ticket. The free soil party expect the dutch vote, so I suppose Taylor will have the Americans… ", fresh and Very Fine, a wonderful campaign design.

" Paid 5 " rating to Penn Yan N.Y., Very Fine.

(1848 Campaign) Zachary Taylor Lettersheet, printed campaign design on blue lettersheet featuring Man and "Taylor & Fillmore" Flag, "Room of the Whig Party State Central Committee" letterhead and datelined "Boston, Oct 26 1848" announcing "the election for Electors of President and Vice President of the United States" and other political positions, imploring "…ask that you will use your utmost exertions to bring every Whig voter to the polls, in your town, and thus do your share in achieving that triumph which we believe awaits us in the old Bay State…"; file folds and light creasing, small tone spot, Very Fine and quite rare.
