    Steamer Cora, red oval handstamp on 1849 bill of lading datelined "Camden, March 22, 1849" to New Orleans La., Very Fine, ex-Haas, Milgram .

    A contract route to Camden on the Ouachita River in Arkansas was not contracted until March 1849, and then only by the trip at $10. The Route 6000m was just under 600 miles and provided a weekly service from New Orleans.

    Steamer Fashion, red oval handstamp on 1851 gray folded letter datelined "Bossier Point, May 1st 1851" to New Orleans La., entered the mails with "New Orleans, La., May 7" cds and matching bold "Steam 10" in circle rating handstamp, Very Fine, ex-Milgram .
