May 21 '93" duplex strikes on illustrated The Ebbitt House advertising cover showing building locally addressed to the Ebbitt House, reverse with pink "Washington D.C., Special Delivery Post, May 22, 1893" time clock cds; accompanied by unused illustrated Ebbitt House letterhsheet, Very Fine and attractive, a scarce local special delivery use.

    Special Delivery, 1893, 10¢ orange, used with 2¢ carmine (220), each tied by barred oval duplexed with "Greensborough N.C. Dec 24, 1893" Christmas Eve cds to Washington D.C., reverse with pink "Washington D.C., Special Delivery Post, Dec 25, 1893" time clock Christmas Day cds; reduced slightly at right trimming 2¢, otherwise Very Fine and scarce Washington D.C. time clock use.
