    (1864 Campaign) George B. McClellan, six mostly different designs, all but one unused, includes GM-1, GM-2 (used). GM-4, GM-7 and GM-9 (x2), all attractive and extremely useful, a few with very minor flaws generally, Very Fine.

Pendleton, gray patriotic campaign design featuring oval portrait surrounded by flags, cannons and shield, on amber cover bearing 3¢ rose (65) tied by patent punch cancel duplexed with "Buffalo N.Y. Nov 5, 1864" cds to Boston N.Y.; faint stain in oval, left corner wear, small edge flaws at left and light stain in oval still, F.-V.F.

McClellan, For Vice President George H. Pendelton" imprint and below "Gen. George B. McClellan" caption on cover bearing 3¢ rose (65) tied by target cancel duplexed with "New Albany Ind. Apr 11, 1865" cds to Delval Wisc.; small right edge nick, Very Fine and beautiful patriotic campaign design, used only four days before Lincoln assassination.

Pendelton" imprint on cover bearing 3¢ rose (65) tied by "Chattanooga, Ten. 10 Nov '64" target duplex to Grahamsville N.Y.; reduced at right and bottom left nick, couple ink stains, Fine and rare design, the only recorded example .

Pendleton, campaign design with dual oval portraits in ornamental frames with additional boxed frames, one with slogan "Where Little Mack Leads the Hearts of the People will Follow" ms. crossed out and second is stamp collar, on cover with red "Boston, Mass. Jan 30" cds and "Due 6cts." straightline for 3¢ letter rate plus 3¢ penalty; reduced at right with bottom corner tear, Very Fine appearance, only two recorded used examples , ex-Meroni, Bischel .

Oct 11" cds to Middlebury Vt.; neat vertical docketing to left and right of design, trivial small tear at right center, Very Fine and attractive, unlisted in Milgram Presidential Campaigns book, only recorded used example ; with 2006 P.F. certificate.
